Adding an external site to the Emory community

If you're in a class that's part of Domain @ Emory and you've created a site on some external service (like Weebly or Wordpress.com) but want that site to be included in the Community Hub feed, then this brief video will explain how you can do that.

(If you have not registered a domain with Emory Domains, this option is still available to you. Go to Emory Domains and login with your Emory NetID and password. You'll be redirected to the screen asking you to choose a domain name. Just return to the Emory Domains main page. You'll be logged into your account, even though you don't have a cPanel to manage your domain. Then proceed just as outlined in the video below.)

You will need to be sure that your external site has an RSS feed. All Wordpress.com sites will automatically have an RSS feed. If you've got a Weebly site, you need to create a blog page someplace on the site in order for Weebly to activate an RSS feed. Once you've got a blog page created, follow the simple steps outlined in the video below:
